ACT TWO

Using broken exit turnstiles bound by bike chains and padlocks, the four have locked their captive into a makeshift jail while they examine his extensive inventory of guns and explosives.

The prisoner receives a whistled signal from the surface. He responds by explaining to the subway dwellers the dilemma they face: his fellow Texans are generously armed and are about to bulldoze above them to rechannel the water from the Chicago River into the subway tunnel.

Jack exits to confirm the Texan's story.
